Pergasingan Hill Day Tour Camping

Often called the “Gateway to Rinjani,” Pergasingan Hill (Bukit Pergasingan) is more than just a warm-up trek—it is arguably the most breathtaking viewpoint in all of Lombok. Rising 1,700 meters above sea level, it offers a front-row seat to the majesty of Mount Rinjani and the iconic tapestry of the Sembalun valley.

What to Expect

The Ascent: The trek is a short but steep challenge. It typically takes 2 to 2.5 hours to reach the summit. While the path is well-worn, the incline is relentless, making that final reach for the plateau incredibly rewarding.

The Panorama: To the west, the mighty Mount Rinjani stands in silent watch, its rugged craters often glowing orange during the “Golden Hour.” To the east, you can catch glimpses of the ocean and the distant Sumbawa island.

The Camping: Many hikers opt for an overnight stay. Camping at the summit allows you to witness the Milky Way in high definition, followed by a sunrise that bleeds purple and gold over the Sembalun caldera.
